My New Obsession

I’m in love with these candles and this scent.  They are also beautiful!

Chef Thomas Keller

One of the many benefits of my job is meeting very interesting and talented people. Yesterday I had the privilege to meet famous chef Thomas Keller.

Keller is the only American-born chef to hold multiple three star ratings by the Michelin Guide, having received a total of seven stars in the 2011 editions.

His restaurants, Per Se, French Laundry, and Bouchon are some of the most respected in the world.

I’m a huge fan of Bouchon Bakery, his casual cafe style restaurant located in Time Warner Center. This relaxed reataurant serves delicious food with a view overlooking Columbus Circle and Central Park.

Chef Keller was so nice and really took the time to chat. Next stop on my restaurant list will have to be Per Se.

And I found a dream that I could speak to
A dream that I can call my own
I found a thrill to press my cheek to
A thrill that I have never known

Soto – A Unique Japanese Dining Experience in the West Village

A restaurant known for its heavenly uni and creative dishes definitely delivered all that and more tonight.

We sat at the sushi bar right in front of master chef Sotohiro Kosugi and watched him prepare each piece of nigiri with such detail before serving it to us himself. Each bite melted in my mouth.

Uni wrapped with squid, in a bed of seaweed, with a quail egg on top
